United States is facing a serious childhood obesity epidemic with one in five children ages 6 – 19 considered obese (by the CDC), which is when a child’s body mass index (BMI) is greater than the 95th percentile when compared to other youths of the same age and gender. BMI is the ratio of weight to height and is useful for understanding how fat (or lean) a person is.
New Generation Learning Center offers a summer program for ages 2 -4 and Summer Camp Morris County, NJ for ages 5-10 years old. Space is limited, siblings of the currently enrolled students will be placed into the program first.
